Head Dental Receptionist - NW1

Tempdent is recruiting on behalf of an established mixed NHS and private dental practice in the NW1 area of North London for an experienced Head Dental Receptionist.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and organised individual to join a busy 5-surgery practice and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the reception function.

About the Practice

• Established mixed NHS and private practice
• 5 surgeries
• Diverse patient base including families, children and specialist referral patients
• Uses SOE/Exact and Dentally software
• Friendly and supportive team environment

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the smooth running of the reception area
• Managing appointment bookings and diary coordination
• Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service
• Handling patient enquiries and communications
• Supporting practice administration and record management
• Assisting with compliance and CQC-related administration
• Supporting HR administration, including staff rotas and coordination
• Working closely with clinicians and the wider practice team

Requirements

• Previous dental reception experience
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience managing busy appointment diaries
• Professional, reliable and patient-focused approach
• Experience using SOE/Exact or Dentally would be advantageous

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
• Two Saturdays per month

• From £15.50 per hour
